Journey and legacy
A legacy of leadership. A vision for the future.
Established in 1995 as the Kodagu District Hotels and Resorts Association, under the visionary leadership of Founder President Mr. Bottolanda Ganesh, our association has grown through the dedication and guidance of distinguished leaders, including past presidents Mr. Vasudeva, Mr. Koti and Mr. Nagendra Prasad, whose contributions laid the foundation of our enduring legacy.
In 2024, the association transitioned to the Coorg Hotels and Resorts Association (COHERA), marking a significant step towards a stronger institutional identity and a more structured organisational framework.
Through focused efforts in governance, registration, bylaws, committee formation and administrative systems, we continue to strengthen our foundations with an emphasis on transparency, professionalism and collective progress.
Honouring our heritage, we remain committed to advancing the hospitality fraternity and shaping a stronger future for Coorg.

1995
Founded in Kodagu
Established as the Kodagu District Hotels and Resorts Association, with Mr. Bottolanda Ganesh as Founder President.
1995–2024
Built by its presidents
Past presidents Mr. Vasudeva, Mr. Koti and Mr. Nagendra Prasad laid the foundation of the association's legacy.
2024
Coorg Hotels and Resorts Association
The association became COHERA: a stronger institutional identity and a more structured organisational framework.
